First African American Woman to Practice Law in Pennsylvania

Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander is the first African American to receive a PhD in Economics, and the first African American woman to attend the University of Philadelphia Law School. She was the first African American woman to practice law in Pennsylvania, and fought for equality and justice everywhere.
